Easily one of the most revered Shock Stock guests of all time, Joe Bob Briggs makes his return in 2024 and this time he’s not coming alone! The duo of Joe Bob along with Darcy The Mail Girl (aka actress, model, writer, podcaster, and archivist Diana Prince) have single handedly revived the concept of the Drive In Double Feature with the fan favorite The Last Drive In series live streaming Friday nights on Shudder.

We’ve been plannin this return since JB made his mark on the Forest City in 2019 and we’re ready to go bigger and better in 2024!

The legendary Bill Moseley has been the most requested guest by a landslide, and we’re pleased as punch to finally make the fan’s dreams come true. Whether you know him as Chop Top Sawyer, Otis B. Shock Stock always delivers when it comes to bringing stars of classic Italian horror, and 2024 is no different! To further celebrate the career of the The Poet of the Macabre himself Lucio Fulci – we’re bringing icon Silvia Collatina who portrayed the ethereal Mae Freudstein in the unforgettable 1981 House By The Cemetery. Die hard italian horror fans will also recognize Silvia from Sergio Martino’s The Great Alligator. 

JEFF LIEBERMAN

Cult Classic filmmaker and legend Jeff Lieberman is coming to Shock Stock to celebrate his illustrious career, including celebrating the 2oth anniversary of Satan’s Little Helper! Come and meet the man behind what is considered a modern classic  as well as the mind behind Squirm, Blue Sunshine, Remote Control, and the unforgettable slasher Just Before Dawn!

LYNN LOWRY

The always lovely Lynn Lowry is making a much anticipated return to Shock Stock in 2024 and can’t wait to catch up with her legions of fans! While she’s always keen on discussing working with the Godfathers of horror in films such as Cronenberg’s Shivers or George A Romero’s The Crazies, Lynn can also chat about her modern classics like Model Hunger and Necropolis Legion. Come give Lynn a warm welcome back !

B.A. Johnston is the Shock Stock Saturday Night Delight – with his always legendary performances of croons, swoons, and goons. Every year we get asked “is B.A. coming back to play on Saturday night? ” and this year – the answer is PROBABLY YES !

J.R. BOOKWALTER

J.R. BOOKWALTER began his career at in 1985 at age 19 with THE DEAD NEXT DOOR, an ambitious zombie epic financed by a now-legendary Hollywood director. After learning the ropes with a series of less-than-satisfying work-for-hire features, Bookwalter founded Tempe as an outlet to make & self-distribute such films as OZONE and POLYMORPH. In 1997, Bookwalter relocated to Hollywood, where he produced 12 features for Full Moon Pictures in just 3 years as well as directing two popular WITCHOUSE sequels.

The Akron, Ohio native went back on his own in 2003 with Tempe DVD, releasing deluxe Special Editions of his past work as well as creating a new home for some “not-so-classics” with the comedy series BAD MOVIE POLICE. Considered by many to be a “pioneer” in the wildly popular shot-on-video movement, in 2005 Bookwalter celebrated his 20th year in the business, marked by Anchor Bay’s release of THE DEAD NEXT DOOR Special Edition DVD, bringing his career full circle.

AND NOW – after a 23 year haitus – he’s returning to the scene with the new theatrical feature SIDE EFFECTS MAY VARY – closing out Shock Stock 2024 at Imagine Cinemas! Get your tickets as you won’t want to miss this splatter epic on the big screen! 

BRETT KELLY

Hailing from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, Brett Kelly is one of the most prolific indie filmmakers alive with over 30 films made in less than 15 years. Writing, directing and often co-starring in his films, Kelly is an auteur who knows how to cheat budgets and almost always delivers work that is creative, clever and, like many others toiling in the same microbudget world, his work is woefully undervalued. We recommend Kelly‘s My Fair Zombie. Spyfall and My Dead Girlfriend. ” Brett is also known for his notorious shark movie “Jurassic Shark” and is the lead singer of glam metal band Gelatin Skelatin.
